Boozing regularly gives you a clear
path to reach mental disorder Behavioural disorders and mental disorders are now
very common among people and have a huge growth in the social environment. Scientists
found that people who are suffered from drinking habits have high risk of
getting mental disorder. Alcohol has now
become a daily drink which is either a practice or a fantasy for all the people
around the globe. But the real fact is that too much of booze causes huge risk
factor for Dementia. Memory loss and other brain impairments may get a chance
to affect you when you have heavy drinking habit. This in turn later leads to
Dementia. Most of the Dementia which starts before the age of 65 is mostly due
to the regular alcohol use. This acts as a major reason for premature death.
Alcohol use disorder is the primary disorder of
Dementia. We can find a complex relationship between alcohol and cognitive
disease. People with light to moderate drinking habits may have less risk
factor whereas those with moderate to heavy drinking habit are tend to live a
dangerous life. Alcohol use in regular cause lack of vitamin called vitamin-B1.
This vitamin deficiency causes thiamine and other cognitive diseases. Women are
affected more than men by the dementia disorder. Women who have 3 pints per day
or more than 7 pints in a week have high risk of dementia problems. Meanwhile
men who have more than 5 pints a day are affected by the disorder. According to
World Health Organization, chronic heavy drinking for men can be defined as
consuming more than 60 grams of alcohol per day and for women it can be defined
as consuming more than 40 grams per day. Behavioural disorder in children may
rise from their mother when they are in womb and when the mother is addicted to
alcohol.
Onset of all types of dementia is mostly caused by
the alcohol use disorder. To reduce the burden of dementia among the drinking
people, treatment should be implemented for alcohol use disorder. Since daily
stories in the media hits the antisocial behaviour of human, only few among
them reaches the area of therapy and treatment. When dementia is diagnosed we
can see the extensive brain damage and it is found that brain loses 10% of its
cell volume. Apart from daily challenges to maintain their health, people who
