Lyme is an infectious disease which
is caused by bacteria Borrellia. It is caused by the tick bite which is
infected by the bacterium Borrellia. Borrellia is usually spread by Ticks. The
most common infections caused by Lyme are redness on the skin, fever and head
ache. But typically most of the people don’t have the awareness that Lyme also
causes Neurological problems. Neurological problems caused by Lyme are known as
Neurological Lyme Disease and also as Neuroborreliosis.
It can affect any part of nerves system and leads to a wide range of possibilities for getting neurological symptoms psychiatric and signs. Patients who are under the last stage of Lyme disease are affected by various neurological problems. Some of the common neurological problems are head ache and sleep disorders. Violent outbursts, depression, inappropriate laughter, progressive confusions are some of the improved neuropsychiatric symptoms.
